Production Line Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Supervisor at ABB Oy, Motion Service Division in Helsinki. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising production testing field. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in continuous improvement of production processes. Each day, you will manage human resources and work with safety related tasks. You get to work in a customer focused organization fulfilling fast-paced delivery expectations. Work will be executed in one shift.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupervising the production testing field as well as safety related tasks•\tLeading the daily work and following up production KPI´s (OTD, quality, safety, productivity)•\tDeveloping the production processes is an essential part of your work•\tProduction planning and development•\tManaging the production process and ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications for the role

B.Sc. in electrical or automation degree is essential, or alternatively work experience of electrical works that can be considered equal to formal educationAbility to demonstrate your understanding in electrical drawings and production testing requirements is essentialA few years of working experience is a must. Previous supervisor experience is considered an advantageEstablished skills and understanding of production and logistics processes is essentialPossessing good organizing and communication skillsYou enjoy motivating your team through a positive attitudeYou are at ease communicating in Finnish and English, both written and spokenPossessing development-oriented mindset and hands-on working attitudeRelevant IT skills (SAP, MS Office tools; Excel, Power Point, Word)Ideally, you have an understanding of Lean principles and basic quality management methods
