**Aerotek is hiring a Production Supervisor** **Shift: 2pm - 11pm** **Responsibilities** + Provide leadership and training to all employees to accomplish production objectives in Safety, Quality, Production, Packaging, and Maintenance. + Coordinate production activities with other departments to ensure production goals and objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. + Work with the operations team to ensure coverage for any planned or unplanned vacancies. + Establish and monitor shift performance for safety, quality, and production standards. + Enter production data accurately into the system to measure and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) around efficiencies, downtime, inventory, and overall production. + Update communication boards to keep production floor team members informed about safety, quality, and efficiency metrics and lead employee start-up meetings. + Work with other team members to control and improve efficiencies, minimize labor overtime, downtime, and repair expenses, and implement cost-effective systems as necessary. + Promote shop floor organization and plant housekeeping with employees using lean techniques such as 5S with shift personnel. + Act as the first point of contact for operators regarding mechanical failure or production issues and direct maintenance employees to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform preventative maintenance. + Conduct tool store inventory reviews to ensure proper tools and/or parts are available for use when needed. + Prepare and review employees' worked hours for submission to payroll. **Essential Skills** + Experience in a production environment + Supervisory skills + Management skills + Knowledge of manufacturing processes + Production management + Process improvement + Supervision + Lean manufacturing + Tooling + Manufacturing operations + Production supervision **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management + 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus + Previous labor relations experience + Experience working in a Lean environment and embracing continuous improvement + Self-directed team player + Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills + Flexibility to work multiple shifts + Excellent communication skills + Strong business acumen + Results-oriented + Ability to build collaborative relationships + Influence others + Strategic thinking + Customer-focused **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Memphis,TN. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 20, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
