Responsibilities: This person will supervise plant operations concerning feed production, employee training and development, and equipment maintenance according to FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, and MFA quality control requirements. The person will also assist in computer entry and represent management as needed in the manager’s absence. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

Utilize facilities and manpower to manufacture feed Ensure smooth shift transitions with proper employee communication Utilize equipment and time to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is performed as required Attend safety meetings Run routine inspections

Qualifications

B.S. degree in agriculture/ animal science, feed milling science, or related field Must have experience with preventative maintenance Knowledge and basic understanding of quality control programs such as the FDA, OSHA, and EPA guidelines
