Teledyne Paradise Datacom, a Teledyne Technologies company, is focused on the design, manufacturing and sale of satellite modems, solid state power amplifiers (SSPA), low noise amplifiers (LNA), block up converters (BUC) and associated redundancy subsystems. Paradise Datacom has delivered products and subsystems for use in satellite communications systems to an extensive list of customers located around the world.

Position Summary

Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. This job will make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function and develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Tasks and assignments tend to be complex, non-routine and/or require a greater level of expertise. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined Duties are performed under limited supervision.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that departments within the organization reach production goals within budget and a high level of quality.Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.Determines work schedules and overtime, allocation of resources and which machines will run and resolves problems as they occur.Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals.Prepares production reports and drafting a timescale for the job.Works with purchasing to improve the quality of materials from suppliers.Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 5-10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical, RF or Microwave experience required.

  

Salary Range:

$96,200.00-$128,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
