Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Supervisor at ABB Oy, Drives unit in Helsinki, Pitäjänmäki. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will lead, train, and motivate a team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, maintain production records, and promote and execute continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with production planners, engineers, and various stakeholders. Qualifications for the role

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in industrial management, electrical and/or automation, or related fieldA few years of working experience. Previous supervisory experience is considered an advantageSelf-motivated and result-oriented attitude Knowledge of production and logistics processes, with ability to optimize theseAbility to lead and motivate a team, plan, oversee and, support assembly operations. Solutions-oriented approach and decision-making abilitiesTeam player with good communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and EnglishOrganizational skills: the ability to plan tasks and resources effectively to accomplish work dutiesOpen-minded and enthusiastic about constant improvement and innovationGood MS Office skills. Experience with production SAP or in another ERP system
