Production Supervisor Job Number: 354957 Category: Operations/Production Leadership Description: Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Indianapolis, IN Zip Code: 46217 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $80K annually Schedule: 1st shift Keywords: #ProductionSupervisor #ProductionSupervisorJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for directing the functions and activities of our manufacturing team. * Develop strategies to achieve operational objectives for daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. * Providing daily direction to the manufacturing team to ensure execution of the company business plan while simultaneously implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives that will deliver long-term benefits. * Oversee daily manufacturing operations by ensuring safety and adherence to production schedules and quality standards * Provide regular updates to management on production status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement * Lead and mentor a team of machinists and operators, fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment * Communicate with internal and external stakeholders with high intensity and professionalism * Utilize knowledge of CNC machining processes to optimize production techniques and workflows * Implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain cost-effective operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate"s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related field * 5 years" experience in a CNC machining environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role * Experience leading people and obtaining results through others * Proven record of accomplishment of driving results in an Assembly or machining environment (3, 4, and 5 axis). * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities * Firm commitment to safety and quality standards * Working knowledge of aerospace quality requirements * Ability to understand and apply production planning processes * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities * Must be computer literate, particularly in spreadsheet; production planning; and ERP applications * Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor"s degree * Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment. * Experience with CNC machines of all axis and types; knowledge of CNC machining processes to optimize production techniques and workflows. * Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and structured problem-solving * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in aerospace or automotive manufacturing environment; excellent verbal and written communication * Proven leadership in aerospace or automotive manufacturing operations If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
