Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description

The Production Supervisor will lead and supervise production personnel utilizing procedures and work instructions to meet or exceed customer and company requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure a safe and issue-free work environment.Create a positive, results-oriented work environment to meet company objectives.Maintain and improve production performance processes through waste reduction and continuous improvement.Understand and ensure compliance with IATF, ISO requirements, policies, and procedures.Oversee employee time-keeping system, corrective counseling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.Track, train, coach, and develop production employees.Ensure adherence to work procedures, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.Maintain open-door communication and promote an issue-free environment.Essential SkillsHigh School diploma or GED2+ years of related experienceDemonstrated leadership and problem-solving resultsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient computer skills and strong knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to use and train individuals to use production/manufacturing systemsBasic knowledge of plant operations management and lean principles, processes, and techniquesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience managing a team of 100+JIT experience, union experienceExperience with ADP and forklift operationsComfortable working in a team environmentWilling to work weekends and flexible schedulesProficient in Microsoft Excel and manpower softwareWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes a 2-week swing shift with hours alternating between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. Employees must be willing to work weekends. The production setting requires adherence to safety standards and continuous improvement practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Windsor, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
