Production Supervisor

Through the years, we've earned our customers’ trust and a reputation for expert quality service, accountability, and for being a single point of responsibility on all the projects we manage ---- regardless of project size or tight deadlines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** The Production Supervisor is the primary director of a project from receipt of a customer’s purchase order to shipment of the equipment to the destination. The Production Supervisor utilizes cross functional leadership, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills to be an effective and collaborative liaison between customers, production, engineering, and purchasing teams. The Production Supervisor promotes and enforces safety protocols, ensures production schedules and quality standards are maintained. The Production Supervisor leads daily production meetings, prioritizes work to meet customer demands, analyzes and resolves production conflicts, and regularly corresponds with the project manager. + Generate detailed project plans to monitor and control progress to deliver the equipment order within the defined timeframe. + Create and develop reports and analyses to identify performance variance and to support cost/schedule integration. + Coordinate and expedite activities, both internal and external, for projects from order release to shipment, controlling the process to meet defined delivery dates. + Proactively maintain all plans and action items. + Identify scope and schedule changes and make strategic decisions to achieve business value. + Escalate issues as necessary to ensure that forecasted sales and unit production plans are properly integrated. + Lead initiatives to facilitate continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. **Required Skills:** + Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. + Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills. + Proven ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings. + Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Working knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Code, TEMA and/or API is a plus. + Creative and innovative demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in work style to effectively respond to multiple requests/tasks and handle sudden changes in shifting priorities. + Ability to embrace and play an instrumental role in change initiatives. **Educational Requirements:** Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or other or other relevant major. **Experience:** 7+ years of experience with the manufacturing of shell and tube exchangers or a closely related industry. **We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
