Production Supervisor
What you’ll do:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the whole production workforce including materials, process and equipment in the production line so that productivity is maintained within the budget and in accordance with plan schedule and quality standard.

 

1.    Supervise work activities of personnel inside the production area.

2.    Direct operators to obtain maximum productivity and effectiveness from men, materials and equipment available to accomplish the basic goal in meeting production schedule and commitments.

3.    Ensure the performance of men and machines to produce products that conform to established specifications and quality standards.

4.    Ensure that methods and standard practices and production processes developed and approved for the implementation in the section are allowed as recommended.

5.    Keep wastage of materials, labor and power of his area is within approved limits.

7.    Ensure that all machines and equipments, tools in the section are in good running condition.

8.    Plan manpower allocation, machine set-up and materials needed in the operations.

9.    Check and follows up the availability of indirect and direct materials affecting the plan.

10.    Monitor quality trends and reworks rates to determine the causes of problems and recommends corrective actions.

11.    Interface with customer representatives, Engineering Supervisor, Quality Assurance and other support groups regarding manufacturing related problems.

12.    Coordinate with personnel of Production Planning and Control regarding line balancing, commitment and control priorities.

13.    Implement new methods that will ensure effective and smooth flow of production.

14.    Ensure that safety program of the company are properly implemented in the section.

15.    Maintain good housekeeping and efficient operating within the area of responsibility.

16.    Prepare weekly, monthly, and other periodic reports of production activities.

17.    Ensure application of quality policy of the company in his/her area of responsibility.

18.    Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s  Degree in Engineering or any related course At least 5-year semiconductor IC manufacturing and/ or engineering experience in the same capacity.Knowledgeable in quality/ improvement systems/ ISO standards.Experience dealing with assembly and Test subcontractor in the semiconductor industry.Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills. Focused, analytical, organized, systematic, with high tolerance for stress, pleasant disposition and excellent judgment skills Knowledge in MS Office applications.
