The Coil Processing Production Supervisor manages all aspects of the material flow, ensuring safe and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution to Triple-S Steel customers. This role is crucial for maintaining Workplace Health and Safety standards per federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to company policies. Key responsibilities include managing warehouse security, auditing inventory, overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility, and ensuring quality assurance, logistics, and staff training.This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills who is dedicated to team safety, operational efficiency, and quality control.

Responsibilities Inventory & Production Control: Maintain receiving, shipping, inventory, and production processes by implementing and enforcing procedures and work instructions.Inventory Accuracy: Oversee scrap and inventory levels with regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and monitor the performance of team members.Financial Oversight: Work to meet financial objectives by controlling costs, scheduling, and implementing financial controls.Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely order processing from issuance to invoicing.Vendor Relations: Establish and regularly assess vendor standards to maintain quality and efficiency.Warehouse & Equipment Maintenance: Manage warehouse operations, production planning, and routine equipment inspections and repairs.Customer and Vendor Relations: Collaborate with customers, vendors, and service providers to ensure company interests are represented.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in a service center environment, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.Must know how to use measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper and tape measure.Ability to correctly read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment.Basic math skills.
