Summary

Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Production Supervisor for their Syracuse, NY Manufacturing Operations. This person will directly supervise team members consisting of technicians, stockroom, and inspection personnel.  They will also support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and help build long term capability within the Manufacturing Organization.

What You Will Do Directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, stockroom, shipping/receiving personnel, inspection, etc.) that support floor operations. Define, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to meet business objectives Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvements Design product flow within plant facilities to ensure most the efficient and productive layout.  Ensuring compliance with customer and company proposed standards and requirements Create, update, and implement work instructions as required Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks Prioritizing and executing projects for ongoing process improvements What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; 6 Years relevant progressive experience with Associates in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience. Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel. Complies with security procedures in the performance of duties. IPC610/J-STD-001/IPC620 experience preferred Basic understanding of other process/quality frameworks: ISO 9001, Lean & Six Sigma Basic understanding in process documentation, workflow definition, and analyzing gaps Must be a US Citizen. May be required to obtain a DoD secret level clearance. Preferred: Bonus Points For Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction Ability to both lead a team and work individually Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
