\nSchedule: NIGHT SHIFT 7pm to 7am Rotating, every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administer, and enforce all plant safety and compliance rules to employees under direct supervision. Monitor and ensure all employees on shift are following all food safety policies and procedures. Enforce lockout/tagout policy and ensure guarding is always in place. Ensure all employees are compliant with all safety and position training under the direction of the compliance manager. Ensure all employees on assigned shift including receive proper and timely training. Continually monitor all aspects of production quality and ensure all quality procedures are consistently executed. Understand labor agreement and company policies and procedures and hold employees on shift accountable according to the guidelines set forth in the agreement and by management. Report out daily production, runtime, and waste records. Continually monitor all waste in assigned area, making sure it meets plant management waste standards and goals. Manage employee attendance by verifying payroll hours for shift. Manage overtime to keep costs to a minimum. Handle Kronos system approvals and corrections. Answer employee inquiries concerning issues such as vacation time approval or current attendance point status. Retain and engage employees to meet production standards and goals. Communicate changes and processes effectively to ensure employees understand reasons and expectations. Develop employees to promote advancement and increase skills. Manage performance for adjuster supervisors and employees on assigned shift. Address performance gaps consistently, timely and effectively. Coach and counsel on a regular basis to Hold shift meetings regularly with entire shift to share important information and solicit feedback. \n Must have a High School Diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred Must have a minimum of five years (5) years of leadership experience. Compliance and process driven. Continuous improvement experience preferred. Capable of communicating with all levels of internal and external customers. Must be able to think on your feet, work with limited supervision and make sound decisions. Solid knowledge of company policies and the ability to hold people accountable. Good organization, writing and verbal skills. Ability to work on multiple projects and work the necessary times to accomplish goals. \nBenefits
