What will you do?
The Pyroplas Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the Pyroplas Department, overseeing unit maintenance, repairs, and inspections. They manage operations, record data, prepare regulatory reports, train operators, and perform other duties to support departmental and organizational goals.Why A-Gas?

Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily supervision and monitor the work of staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of destruction units
Ensure all processes within the department are compliant with the A-Gas way, as well as regulatory and other applicable requirements
Provide direct and daily feedback to the Plant Manager regarding any personnel, equipment, safety, or productivity problems
Operate various pieces of process equipment related to the specific job function such as batch tanks, pumps, compressors, etc, and monitor and control temperatures, rotating equipment, pressures, mass, and volumetric flow
Implement measures to improve production methods
Work with, supervise, and train employees to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders and fill cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards
Carry out operational activity including preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders, as well as working in the recovery process so that we are available to fulfill customer orders
Understand hazards of various gases; sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks
Demonstrate the ability to be a safety leader by fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring a safe work environment with a commitment to zero injuries, emissions, and leaks
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and support 5S and lean projects
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
High School Diploma or GED required; Certification or Associate Degree in Machining, Industrial, or Applied Engineering is preferred
Availability to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions
High attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow instructions, understand job responsibilities and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Familiarity with material handling equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
Capability to be trained on ARB/EPA standards and regulatory compliance
Pipe fitting experience is a plus
HVAC experience is highly preferred. Previously skilled trade experience in machine repair and experience working in a chemical or water processing environment preferred
EPA 608 Universal Certificate or must be able to obtain within 6 months
Physical Demand Requirements:
Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts up to 50 pounds independently
Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions
