Production Supervisor (Qualitrol)

At Qualitrol, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting quality standards and production targets. The Supervisor will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Activities: Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications and standards. Implement corrective actions as needed. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality issues. Prepare and submit regular reports to the Plant Manager. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve production-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between management and production staff. Ensure that all team members are informed of production goals, changes, and updates.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools. Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 71,100.00 - 132,100.00
