Position Summary: In this role, you'll orchestrate the production processes, carefully coordinating tasks to fulfill customer requirements, hit production targets, and uphold our quality and cost standards. As a driving force of leadership and motivation, you'll guide your production team, facilitating training, and ensuring adherence to our quality system to create a smoothly operating production environment. Key Responsibilities: + Provide leadership and direction to 40-45 Operators and 4 team leads across the associated shift ensuring proper levels of production and quality are met. + Plan, organize, and schedule production activities (including personnel and equipment) to meet schedules for both standard production and development projects. + Coordinate hiring and training of new employees along with recording the status of the training + Preemptively coordinate material and system requirements to ensure minimum amount of downtime and recommend measures to improve production methods, yields, and the quality of product + Participate on and lead teams that improve safety, quality, and reliability in the production area, as well as teams that support cost saving and team building initiatives (QDC). + Manage production personnel, including planning personnel needs, participating in the hiring process, and managing performance. Must Have: + Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. + Computer literate (MS Office Suite, Syteline) + Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. + Experience in technical report writing and verbal communication skills. + Several years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting. + Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflict, and problem-solve under pressure is crucial.
