Our Wabtec Young Touchstone team combines knowledge of our customers’ product platforms/processes with industry expertise to deliver unparalleled product solutions. Here you’ll interact daily with all support team functions to solve problems and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our customers and their operations.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Heat Transfer & Energy Solutions group, you will be responsible for Providing overall leadership and direction to the assigned area by ensuring the safe and efficient performance of the facilities, employees, and operations. You will maintain the discipline of employees, set work schedules, maintain policies, provide coaching to team leads and operators, and uphold Wabtec Values. This position will report directly to the Manufacturing Site Lead of the Young Touchstone Lexington, TN facility

What will your typical day look like?

Meet goals for Safety, Production volumes, Quality, and cost efficiencies.Work with other area site leaders to keep production flow.Approve employee times and vacation.Enforce company policies and procedures.Make sure all quality issues are addressed, and corrective actions are created.Maintain a team environment, focuses on completing department goals.Promote, and participate in all lean activities, 6S, Kaizens, Lessons Learned, etc...Maintain Schedule, and daily scans.Maintain Daily Gemba, and production matrix.Able to assume more duties as required to meet a changing environment.
