As a Production Support Developer, you will play a critical role within our Products Support team. You will help to ensure all our live platforms are running smoothly without issues and are performing at their full capacity.
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background across multiple programming languages (e.g. Java/.NET) with a focus on supporting and maintaining existing applications.
The responsibilities will include:
Investigation of errors in live high-end platforms.
Researching and fixing defects based on description.
Developing code, scripts, schemas required to solve complex technical issues.
Investigating problems on databases, web and application servers.
Dealing with performance issues.
Communication with Production Support Analysts and Testers.
Automation of manual processes within Production support (CSI).
Working in a group of highly skilled support developers to resolve production issues.
Stay up to date with the latest FNZ technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve support processes and capabilities
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or equivalent
Good understanding of OOP and ability to debug code and understand log entries
Experience Java programming
Experience in Relational Databases - MS SQL Database or Oracle is preferred.
2 or more years production support experience in bank or financial vendors across multiple technologies / platform
Basic knowledge on AWS
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in conveying ideas and winning the trust of stakeholders and Clients
Willingness to learn new things is important as there is a lot to learn and master.
Logical thinking, positive “can-do” attitude and reverse engineering skills
Excellent English skills, written and verbal
Desired Skills (but not a must have):
Knowledge of ITIL. Experience with System administration in Linux/Unix Previous knowledge on FNZ Studio Technology Advanced knowledge on AWSWhat is in it for you?
