You Are:

The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and supporting manual file transfers using Axway B2Bi, IPSwitch/WSFTP, CFT, and other file transfer management tools within a highly regulated healthcare environment. This role involves ensuring the secure, timely, and efficient transfer of Medicaid and Medicare data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. The position will focus on the management of the B2BI MGFT Axway, manual file transfers, data file handling (e.g., zip/unzip, renaming), and troubleshooting file transfer failures. Additionally, the role includes monitoring and maintaining Sentinel Web Dashboard for status tracking and resolving any issues related to data transfers.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Provide support for B2BI MGFT Axway, ensuring that the system operates efficiently, and data transfers are successfully completed.

·       Monitor and manage manual file transfers using Axway B2Bi for Medicaid & Medicare file exchanges.

·       Support the manual transfer of files (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare files) using tools like IPSwitch/WSFTP and Axway B2Bi.

·       Ensure successful file transmission by performing file validation, including checking for successful transfers, correct file formats, and expected data.

·       Utilize CFT (Common File Transfer) for secure and reliable file transfers.

·       Handle file compression tasks including zip/unzip and file renaming before transferring data.

·       Rename and organize incoming data files as required, ensuring they are properly formatted for further processing.

·       Troubleshoot issues related to file integrity, size, or format to ensure data quality and compliance.

·       Monitor file transfer processes using Sentinel Web Dashboard to track the status of manual file transfers, and resolve any issues that arise.

·       Respond promptly to notifications generated from Sentinel Web Dashboard for any file transfer failures or delays. 

·       Notify users regarding the success or failure of file transfers, including sending status updates and resolution timelines.

·       Communicate any changes or delays in file transfer timelines to stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.

·       Diagnose and resolve issues related to manual file transfers, such as missing files, failed transfers, or delays.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve problems with WSFTP, Axway B2Bi, or CFT related to file transfers and data integrity.

·       Maintain detailed documentation of file transfer processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve future operations and ensure consistency in problem resolution.

·       Generate reports on transfer statistics, including file transfer success rates, error logs, and trends.

·       Collaborate with other teams such as the development and operations teams to address integration issues or updates to file transfer protocols.

·       Work with external partners and states to ensure smooth file exchanges, meeting all compliance requirements.

·       Ensure that manual file transfers comply with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards such as HIPAA.

·       Keep up to date with changes in Medicaid and Medicare file formats and regulations.

What You Need:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

·       4+ years of experience in production support, with hands-on experience in managing manual file transfers and troubleshooting file transfer issues.

·       Proficiency with File Transfer Management Tools such as IPSwitch, WSFTP, Axway B2Bi, and CFT for secure, reliable, and efficient file transfers in healthcare environments.

·       Experience with Sentinel Web Dashboard for monitoring and ing on file transfer status and resolving any issues related to file delivery.

·       Strong knowledge of Medicaid & Medicare data transfer protocols, ensuring compliance and successful transfers of healthcare data.

·       Familiarity with data file handling, including zip/unzip processes, file renaming, and ensuring file integrity prior to transfer.

·       SQL expertise for validating data formats and troubleshooting file transfer errors, with knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve file transfer failures, delays, or format issues quickly and efficiently.

·       Experience with API integrations and managing file exchange processes between systems using API or similar communication protocols.

·       Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems, scripting, and shell commands for basic file manipulation and automation tasks.

·       Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA

 

 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $81,000-$123,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
