Production Support Manufacturing Engineer I $1,000 Sign on Bonus

JOB SUMMARY

$1,000 sign on bonus

$1,000 referral bonus

Ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes by troubleshooting production issues, dispositioning nonconforming hardware, improving/documenting workflows, and implementing process improvements.  This role will collaborate with production, quality, and EHS groups to uphold safety standards, ensure quality, and increase efficiency.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for production defects and failures.

Review customer and industry specifications to evaluate and disposition discrepant product.

Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Identify and execute process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Eng, Quality, and Operations, to resolve production challenges.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing environment.

Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing solutions.

Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing assistance, as needed, to ensure a smooth transition from development to production.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field

(preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered).

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production support role

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.

Experience with CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks…)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

General knowledge of GD&T

Knowledge of inspection tools, gauging, and methods

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other quality management systems.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

The pay range for this role is $58,800 - $94,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: June 07, 2025.
