You Are:
The Production Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of client-facing systems and applications. This role focuses on addressing technical issues, resolving defects, and delivering advanced support for urgent and data-related challenges.
The Opportunity:
· Investigate and resolve defects reported by clients in a timely and efficient manner.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the root cause of defects and implement solutions.
· Document resolution steps and maintain logs for future reference and process improvement.
· Perform in-depth analysis and categorization of reported incidents or defects.
· Identify patterns or recurring issues to escalate appropriately to development or support teams.
· Act as the initial point of contact for high-priority issues, ensuring they are routed correctly for resolution.
· Assign identified defects to the appropriate team or individual based on expertise and workload.
· Ensure defects are prioritized according to business impact and urgency.
· Follow up with assignees to ensure timely resolution and communicate updates to stakeholders.
· Handle time-sensitive development tasks, such as creating scripts, fixing minor bugs, or implementing small features.
· Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
· Ensure compliance with coding standards and deployment procedures.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to loading provider and member data into systems.
· Perform manual data loads and validations as needed to support client operations.
· Coordinate with data management teams to address inconsistencies or errors in the data load process.
· Update and maintain configuration settings for provider and member data within the system.
· Ensure configuration changes align with business requirements and are thoroughly tested before deployment.
· Provide support for configuration-related issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.

What You Need:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in a technical support, production support, or software development role.
· Proven experience in defect resolution, issue triage, and incident management within a technology-driven environment.
· Hands-on experience working with provider and member data systems, ETL processes, and manual data handling tasks.
· Proficiency in SQL and database management for troubleshooting data load issues and performing manual loads.
· Hands on experience with development framework (e.g .Net) for handling urgent development tasks..
· Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and configuration management.
· Excellent root cause analysis and advanced triage skills for resolving complex technical issues.
· Experience in handling provider and member data configuration in healthcare or insurance domains.
· Experience working directly with clients to address and resolve defects and data-related issues.
· Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.

· Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Illinois
Compensation Range: $81,000-$123,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
