Production Team Lead - 2nd shift

Responsibilities This position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by being a dedicated resource that is solely focused on driving productivity and improving line efficiencies, all while ensuring safe and quality results. Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: Oversees and ensures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to execute production schedules and/or project goals Motivates team members to achieve plan goals Perform tasks in SAP as needed. Including, but not limited to, starting and closing production orders, reviewing raw material lists, etc. Ensures all operator quality checks, CILs, CLs, and any other required documents are being performed and turned in as required by line and machine center. Assists in TPM activities and events to drive continuous improvement and engagement from the frontline teams. Assists production supervisor in ensuring we have necessary raw materials for scheduled production Ensures production operators have tools, equipment, supplies required to perform their daily responsibilities. Ensures compliance with all health & safety regulations Administer policies and procedures Regular and predictable attendance at the work site This role requires regular presence on the plant floor This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally This role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally This role may require off-shift and weekend work Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,600 - $75,950. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications 2+ years quality manufacturing/production experience in the beverage industry and/or similar experience in a high-speed processing organization. 1 year of experience in leadership (not necessary, bonus) SAP experience (helpful, not required) Must be able to work long hours including weekends and holidays, as necessary When on the production floor for training, monitoring or problem solving, must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours a day in a loud work environment with little climate control. Must be able to multi-task and address multiple priorities expeditiously Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively disseminate and present information to all internal and external customers. Demonstrated success building and fostering teams, gain commitment from others and effectively manage the decision-making process. Creative problem solving and innovative approaches to complex problems in a timely fashion. Computer literacy and proficiency preferred.
