Shift: 3rd Shift : 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay Rate: $35.75 to $38.00 Monday - Friday * $1.00 shift dfferential

Responsibilities

This position reports to the Team Leader or Maintenance & Engineering Manager.  The position is responsible for supporting production by troubleshooting and repairing all thermoforming and support equipment.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct the work of the hourly workforce on the assigned shift.
• Promote safety initiatives and safe work practices.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Help-chain lead on production related issues.
• Formulate strategies to control costs, allocate facility and labor resources, improve production time and
quality standards.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Must be willing to work as a key member in a team environment.
• Must treat employees with dignity and respect.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills with all employees.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed to complete projects.
• Must possess specialized problem solving expertise and assist in developing location knowledge of
problem solving tools.
• Must be able to direct and participate in a variety of manufacturing and process improvement projects of a
broad spectrum and involved nature.
• Must develop and implement plans to achieve “zero” waste consistent with the plant goals and objectives.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the Thermoforming process across multiple platforms.

The plant was built in 1960's, Warehouse and Office areas added in 1988, and has approximately 150 employees.
