You will coordinate activities in expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between areas of production. **Job Description** DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION * Manage the assigned area ensuring that safety, quality, production, cost control & continuous improvement objectives are met while providing technical support and training to employees working in the assigned production areas. * Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in the responsible areas. * Conduct Flash 5 meetings and one-on-one conversations to effectively communicate company policies, objectives, and performance feedback to the workforce in assigned areas. *Deliver on-time completion of product produced in the assigned assembly areas. * Ensure all material used in the assembly of a job is appropriately charged to the correct job. * Maintain a clean and well-organized work area at all times. * Coordinate the final quality of the breaker, releasing breaker to and interfacing with quality inspection personnel, providing feedback on quality to concerned employees. *Review daily shortage reports and provide feedback to the supervisor on potential upcoming parts shortages. *Fill in for production as needed in assembly process. *Provide cross functionality & help handling other product coordinator tasks as needed. *Communicate weekly reviews with the supervisor. *Perform other duties as assigned. QAULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS *PC knowledge required EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * HS Diploma or GED and 2 years manufacturing or supervision work experience.
