Production Team Member – Seminole Mill, Jacksonville, FL

The Opportunity:

The successful team member will be working 12 hour rotating shift and must comply with all safety regulations and practices.  WestRock is a team-based environment.  Employee must understand and utilize all safety requirements of job functions, in addition to use all required PPE during job tasks.  Employee must follow standard work procedures and safe work practices/procedures.                                                                                             

(New employees commonly earn between $45,000 - $55,000/year with yearly increases)

How you will impact WestRock:

Various jobs could include but are not limited to:

OCC/Shipping department - operating lift/clamp trucks loading/unloading materials Paper department - assisting with operations of the paper machine General Services - mill housekeeping and utility duties.

What you need to succeed:

High School diploma or G.E.D.Minimum of 2 years full-time work experienceProven record of performanceDemonstrate the drive to train and achieve upward progression into various job levelsCapable of working rotating shifts including weekends with a 7-day long off. Ability to tolerate various working conditions - heat, noise, inside/outside conditions.Complete training and learning programs for all positionsAbility to work in a heavy manufacturing setting.Ability to work and communicate effectively in team-based environment.Reliable, dependable, and available for work in all areas of the mill.Manufacturing, heavy industrial or Paper Mill Experience Preferred
