Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technician with a strong background in testing, debugging, and failure analysis of electronic components and systems. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience and demonstrate expertise in electronic troubleshooting, test equipment operation, and failure root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Test and Debugging:

Perform functional testing and debugging of electronic systems, PCBs, and components.Operate and maintain test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and logic analyzers.Identify, isolate, and repair issues in electronic circuits and systems.

Failure Analysis (FA):

Conduct root cause analysis for product failures using methods like OFDR, X-ray, or thermal imaging.Document failure points, analyze trends, and provide feedback to engineering teams.Collaborate with Failure Analysis Engineers for in-depth investigations.

Process Improvement:

Provide inputs to enhance test processes, reduce failure rates, and improve First Pass Yield (FPY).Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Documentation and Reporting:

Record test results, debug steps, and failure findings clearly.Prepare technical reports and maintain failure logs for product/process improvements.Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to testing and failure analysis.

Equipment Calibration and Maintenance:

Ensure test equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used correctly.Report and resolve any calibration deviations or equipment malfunctions.Qualifications:Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 3+ years of experience in testing, debugging, and failure analysis of electronic products or systems.Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.).Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for electronic circuits and PCBs.Experience in root cause failure analysis methods.Knowledge of ESD-sensitive control and handling.Basic understanding of cleanroom protocols and particle control.Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Excel, MS Word) for documentation and analysis.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or high-reliability product environment.Familiarity with DCA , scrope tools, X-ray inspection, or thermal analysis equipment.Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO).Working Conditions:Cleanroom or ESD-protected environment.Use of precision test and analysis tools.
