Join our team as a Production Technician IV in Carlsbad, NM and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

Role Overview

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures to minimize downtime. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to maximize equipment reliability. Monitor equipment on assigned production facilities and well sites overnight. Respond promptly to alarms, restore wells and equipment to production, and track performance post-maintenance. Repair minor leaks and ensure all incidents, spills, or downtime events are reported per company protocols. Work both independently and as part of a team to meet quality and quantity production goals. Partner with production staff to optimize operations. Operate computers, phone applications, and other digital interfaces with a high level of proficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in production equipment maintenance and repair. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Proficiency with digital tools, including computer and mobile applications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to respond to alarms and handle emergency maintenance tasks as needed. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in production equipment maintenance and repair. Experience with compression, artificial lift, high production, and computer & human-machine interface systems preferred.
