Job Description

EBAD is seeking a Production Technician for satellite division & A&D. Team members will be responsible for working closely with product engineers, design engineers and operations team in the assembly of development products. Team members will also assist in troubleshooting assembly challenges as well as providing feedback as manufacturing processes are being developed. At times, assignment may consist supporting STD assembly team as well as assisting PE of multiple assign tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position supports and reports directly to the Product Engineering Lead. The Production Technician assists the Product Engineer in technical problem solving for production related work, processes, tools/fixtures, and equipment.

Primary duties include but not limited to the following:

Support Product Engineering activities such as design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of electro-mechanical assemblies as well as pyrotechnic assemblies.Support Product Engineering to develop new design and manufacturing processes and perform validation builds and tests.Complete tasks by following drawings, diagrams, written and verbal instruction.Provide technical support for production tool/fixture validation, equipment installation, set-up, and troubleshooting.Prepare, summarize, and reports trial data for Product Engineering team.

Excels in a dynamic / changeable work environmentEnergetic and positive; Ability to work independentlyHigh School Diploma1+ years of experience working in various fields relating to design, manufacturing, quality control, equipment design, facilities and/or process developmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks and projectsExperienced in assembling complex mechanical componentsExperience in designing and fabricating test or production tooling and fixturesProficient in using machine shop tools, manual mill and lathe to produce tools and production jigsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead assigned projectsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsExperienced in low volume high mix, fast paced, team environmentExperience in soldering per IPC std is a plusExperience in working with Aerospace and Defense products and processes is preferred

Compensation:

Salary Range: $45,000-$60,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
