Job Summary

Assemble and test products/systems before packaging to ship to customers.  Includes everything from receiving a work order, gathering parts, assembling products/systems, testing those products and then transacting the WO for the next step.

 

Responsibilities

Assemble raw materials and components to build the product(s) or system(s)  To assist in the preparation of IIoT products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch  To replenish stock and rotate stock  To perform visual inspection and testing of finished products  Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures  To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximise productivity  Ensure adequate and appropriate stock of equipment and supplies to alert operations and procurement to shortages or issues 

 

Basic Qualifications

2+ Years of recent experience as a production technician/assembler or similar  Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision  Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail  Good verbal communication skills  Experience with ERP systems in a production environment is preferred
