POSITION: Production Technician
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Part-Time; Hourly/Non-Exempt
Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Technician at the facility. Operate and staff all audio, video and scoreboard systems for events in the facility. Works with Production Supervisor and Electronics Technician to maintain all equipment and account for all supplies. Works closely with event coordinators to provide clients with the best possible services to meet their needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment needs.
Broadcasts, Concert & Special Events A/V requirements
Assumes assigned production role & responsibilities as required.
Understands and responds to client needs.
Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner.
Demonstrated communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Operate equipment requirements for successful event production.
Provide technical support throughout events as assigned.
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilities.
Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, and able to work at heights over 50 ft.
Must be able to lift and push a minimum of fifty (50) pounds and spend long periods on your feet.
Must have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipment.
Education and/or Experience
3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue/ center/theater.
Technical degree or certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel
Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and arena management
Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state and other work environment and safety regulations
Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues
