Production Technician - Position Description

ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a Production Technician to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC

Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description: General Tasking Description:

Input to SUPSHIP and Program Office: Provide inputs and support to the Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) and Program Office regarding shipbuilding production efforts. Monitor and Audit Production: Monitor and audit contractor shipbuilding production efforts to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements. Testing and Maintenance Assistance: Assist in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and testing manufactured products to maintain quality. Time and Cost Estimation: Estimate the time and cost required to complete production projects. Collaboration with Engineering and Specialist Teams: Work alongside engineering, developer, and specialist personnel to perform maintenance, installation, fabrication, test and evaluation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of various systems and subsystems. Formal Processes and Procedures: Perform all tasks following formally documented processes and procedures. Technical Documentation: Produce low-level technical documents, drawings, and other forms of documentation to support production activities. Quality Control: Ensure quality standards are met through thorough testing and inspection of manufactured products. Project Coordination: Coordinate production tasks to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Experience Requirements:

10 years of relevant professional experience. Experience supporting Navy Supervisor of Shipbuilding preferred.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or Higher
