Production Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving and inspecting materials, executing production tasks, and operating equipment under supervision. Ensures compliance with food safety and quality standards, maintains accurate records, and supports sampling activities. Contributes to safety, cleanliness, and 5S practices while engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshooting with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in material reception from external warehouses, ensuring accuracy in quality and quantity.
• Participate in the unloading process, conducting checks and ensuring proper storage procedures.
• Execute production tasks accurately and efficiently based on provided instructions.
• Operate equipment under supervision and guidance, adhering to established procedures.
• Maintain awareness of and adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of production activities.
• Assist in product sampling to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Contribute to achieving department targets for safety, health, and environmental performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area, following 5S practices.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and participate in improvement projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and quality.
• Seek guidance and assistance from senior team members as needed to troubleshoot issues and improve performance.

Essential:

• Technical Certificate (Nitec) / Diploma in any Engineering related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in chemical, food or pharmaceutical industry).
• Fluent in English, any additional language will be highly beneficial for work with teams having other native language.
• Possess an understanding of ISO, GMP and ESH concept.
• Hold a valid forklift driving lEicense preferred.
• Knowledge of FSSC22000, HACCP, GMP, OSHA and EHS regulation will be advantageous.
