Production Technician

Production Technician II - Label Operator II  

Position Description: Operate high speed labeling equipment in a carbonated soft drink facility. Candidate will also be trained to operate all supporting pieces of production equipment.  Documentation of machine production and its performance.  Support in training other employees on production equipment. Conduct pre-inspection and post cleaning of equipment when required.

Shift and Schedule: This is a full-time permanent position working on 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Daily overtime as needed with occasional weekends as the business needs.

Position Responsibilities

Operates machinery at its highest efficiency.Works with maintenance staff to ensure machine efficiencies are optimizedAssures all work performed is done within a safe manner.Assures all work performed with an attention to quality and food safety.Assists supervisor and lead operators in training employees on equipment and procedures.Ensures SOP’s are being followedParticipates in root cause/ corrective action activitiesProvides relief coverage to other line operators when needed.Monitor line for defective materials and perform any other related work in accordance with line Total Rewards $22.80
