Aerotek is seeking dedicated individuals to join our medical device manufacturing client - to make blood analyzer cartridges used in critical care and hospital settings. This role requires intense focus and attention to detail to ensure that products meet high-quality standards. The process involves automated printing and labeling, with significant emphasis on quality control and documentation.

ResponsibilitiesWork on a production line manufacturing blood cartridges with minute-level printing onto metal strips.Observe and ensure that the printing process is accurate and droplet shapes are correct.Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring products meet critical care requirements.Document any changes or abnormalities in the production process efficiently and digitally.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in an automated production environment.Ensure that products are up to grade to prevent adverse effects on patients' health.Essential SkillsExperience working on a production line in a manufacturing environment.High school diploma minimum; college education in medical, science, or engineering is ideal.At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production setting with compliance standards.Ability to work in an automated environment with computerized production machines.Attention to detail and ability to focus while working quickly on a production line.Experience with assembly, quality checks, and product quality control.Bonus Skills & QualificationsPast experience or education in medical, food, or pharmaceutical.Education in science or medical fields.Ability to stand for long periods and maintain intense focus.Why Work Here?

Job DetailsLocated on Walkley Road (Ottawa) - bus accessible sitePay rate depends on the shift worked - overnight premiums up to $22/hour.Long term contract, potential to go permanent after.Overnight shifts, morning shifts available. 12 hour shifts.Specialized paid training offered!Work is done in a large room with automated running machines. Inside shoes required, and PPE provided at the site.
