Job Description

Summary:

You will perform troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to the test's machines, documenting work orders, and managing the machine's metrics like MTBF, MTTR, and Downtime, responding to downtime generated with speed needed from the production environment. Test technician is motivated person who succeeds to work in group settings and seek out diverse perspectives with multi-functional team members.

You will report the Test Supervisor located in our DR Plant.

Principles responsibilities:

1. Lead the exercise to resolve the problems. 5 Whys, 8D, A3 & PDCA, execution of a PDCA when it is needed as it is established in the current escalation matrix in the department, troubleshooting and repairs.

2. Manage and analyze reliability metrics for assigned machines (MTBF, MTTR, Downtime).

3. Participate in the metrics review meetings to improve the metrics.

4. Accomplish the 95% PM Compliance and 100 % Calibration Compliance with the weekly maintenance schedule delivery from the supervisor.

5. Resolve failures of assemblies or components and communicate findings. Report and improve quality issues. Participate in quality improvement projects.

6. Work together with plans to prevent safety and environmental issues Support BBS Teams.

7. Performs electrical and electronic repairs, equipment installation, and modifications to complex electromechanical equipment and fixtures.

8. Accomplish machine maintenance according to the job plan description and identify critical spare parts needed to ensure and improve maintenance costs.

9. Set up production equipment and fixtures according to production requirements.

10. Perform preventive, emergency maintenance and calibrations of the equipment, considering that all maintenance work must be done correctly according to the strategies to meet workload demands.

11. Guarantee proper and safety machine operations with all health and safety regulations and practices on site and compliance with EH&S risks, 100% PPE, and LOTO execution.

12. Propose and implement improvements in the production equipment.

13. Ensure that all machine has the correct job plan for maintenance and update changes in operation.

14. Assist the supervisor within the requirements assigned.

15. Document work orders according to Rockwell Automation standards and use the escalation matrix to communicate the issue encountered.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School.

2. Technical education required, Electronic or related areas.

3. 2 years of related experience, working on mitigation tasks, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance.

4. Manage office package (Microsoft Word, Excel; can perform complex functions and PowerPoint).

5. Intermediate English.

7. Basic knowledge of one of these programming languages (C#, Python, LabVIEW, and Test Stand)

8. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programing.
