Join us. **Description** As the IDP Customer & Training Center Training Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the equipment at the Edward J. Rapp Customer & Training Center in Clayton, NC. **Job duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Maintaining, monitoring, shipping and cleaning machines when required. + Supporting customer and dealer events as needed + Set-up and tear down of equipment (tables, chairs, etc) + Supporting factory tours + Providing welcome and safety presentations + Operating equipment in machine demos + Transporting groups between facilities **Basic Qualifications** + Two years of Product Assembler or Team Lead experience + Must currently work at the Clayton, NC facility + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office **Top Candidates will also have** + Ability to communicate assembly processes effectively + Previous experience operating equipment + Technician experience on equipment + Demo team experience **Physical Requirements** + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly + Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly while on the shop floor + Ability to climb up and down stairs, platforms, and ladders on an occasional basis + Ability to sit, kneel, squat, or twist regularly + Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete / dirt floors throughout the shift + Ability to be outside in the elements for long period of time **Additional Information** Shift: 1st Shift Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Overtime scheduled on Friday as business needs require.
