Production Transition Coordinator

Job Summary Work Shift 1 - First Shift Are you the type of person who is motivated and passionate about developing new and existing team members to learn and grow? In this role you will help facilitate and champion a smooth transition for team members from their training programs to the production floor. We’re looking for a liaison between the training department and production teams, ensuring that team members are equipped to excel in their production roles. What You’ll Do 1. Collaborate with Technical Training, Human Resources Business Partners, EHS, and Production Leadership to ensure team members are receiving the resources they need during their onboarding experience in production. 2. Welcome and orient newly trained team members to the production floor. Act as a mentor and guide by answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing support during their initial days in production. 3. Monitor the onboarding of newly trained team members, identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive feedback through frequent check-ins. 4. Ensure strong foundation for success in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, and other best practices. 5. Ensure timely completion of the New/Transferred/Borrowed checklist for all team members you support. What We’re Looking For - High School Diploma or HiSET. - Demonstrated understanding of production floor processes, procedures, and safety protocols. - Ability to adapt and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with new and current production team members. - Ability to assist plants up and down the campus with new hires when needed. If there’s a gap in team members being onboarded, assist with production needs in your plant. - Passionate champion of Vermeer culture with a desire to help team members learn and grow in their role. - Bilingual fluency in Spanish Preferred. Travel - No travel is expected of this position. Work Location ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
