**Job Title: Production Worker 18/hr** **Job Description** The Packaging Operator is responsible for final packaging of flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts) according to directions on each batch ticket. This role works closely with the Batch Processors to package batches with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The role may involve operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. The ability to read labels and follow safety procedures is essential. The Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging the correct finished product quantity with the correct label, monitoring production, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment. **Responsibilities** + Package final flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts) according to batch ticket directions. + Collaborate with Batch Processors to ensure food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. + Operate machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. + Read labels and follow safety procedures. + Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. + Record operational and production data on specified forms. + Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and sit-down forklifts. + Understand the impact and importance of food safety and its role in our products. + Communicate any food safety concerns to shift leads or management. + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including sanitation of equipment after each batch. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50+ pounds + 6+ months of Manufacturing Experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in Manufacturing + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) + General labor skills + Packing and production experience **Why Work Here?** All employees start with 15 PTO days (prorated). Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, a hair net, and no jewelry. Uniforms and lockers are provided.
