Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Workers for our 2nd shift. In this role, you will inspect automotive component parts for defects, trim parts if necessary, and prepare them for packing. You will work collaboratively with a team of operators to ensure quality and efficiency in our production line.
ResponsibilitiesInspect automotive component parts for defects as they are dispensed from the injection molding machine.Inspect 50 parts per hour, ensuring each part weighs under 5 lbs.Collaborate with 1-4 other operators on the production line.Trim components parts if necessary and prepare them for packing.Pack component parts according to specified packing guidelines.Assist with material changes as needed.Complete necessary paperwork for defective parts.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.2 years of manufacturing experience.Ability to stand for 10-12 hours at a time.Experience using hand tools such as hammers, knives, and screwdrivers.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience working in plastics manufacturing companies.Familiarity with hand tools and forklift operation.Why Work Here?
This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for pay raises. Once hired directly, you will receive a 50-cent raise and an additional 25 cents after a year. We have work booked out until 2027, ensuring job security. We offer a casual dress code, allowing operators to wear shorts and t-shirts with closed-toe shoes in the summer. As a tier 1 supplier to major automotive companies, we provide a stable and dynamic work environment.
Work Environment
This is a non-climate controlled, clean, and bright environment. The 2nd shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 75-cent shift differential. Currently, employees work 6-7 days a week, but this is expected to reduce to 6 days after machine repairs. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 3-4 weeks. The dress code is casual with no requirement for steel-toed shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.78 - $19.78/hr.
