We are hiring a Production Operators for Casting and Machining! You must operate equipment safely and evaluate parts according to quality specifications. You will visually inspect parts prior to processing through the machines.


What You'll Do:Monitor equipment in your area of responsibility for adverse conditions and advise supervision of these conditionsVisually inspect parts for defectsLoad linesRemove excess flashRequired to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisorComplies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; P.P.E. and ErgonomicsWhen necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the jobWhy You'll Love Working for Us:Comprehensive Benefits Package to include medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account with annual employer contributions and Flexible Spending AccountsCareer Development and On-The-Job TrainingEmployer 401K MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid vacation and holidays Requirements What We Need from You:Familiarity with quality control gaugesUnderstanding of machine set up sheets and process control plansAbility to deburr machined parts using handheld deburring and power deburring tools, and to wash machined parts using automatic washing or manual washing equipmentUnderstanding of the use of handheld gauges and ability to use basic gauging and measuring equipmentIdentify defects and inspect parts using process control plansAbility to start and operate all secondary equipment from power off to cycle startAbility to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of timeAbility to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularlyAbility to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and complete visual inspections
