**Aerotek is Hiring a Production Worker in Langley** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. This role involves working in a warehouse setting where you will be responsible for stacking products, preparing items for shipping, and performing yard work such as cutting and wrapping insulation. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot environment. **Wage** + $25.91/hour Shift + Rotating + Week 1: 7am-3pm + Week 2: 3pm - 11pm + Can accommodate an afternoon only schedule **Responsibilities** + 6+ months of experience as a machine operator + 1+ years of recent production experience (metal/roll forming, continuous production line, punch press/sheer, pipe bending, Injection molding) + ability to communicate via radio + ability to read work orders + 3+ months of QC experience - calipers and measuring tape in imperial 1/16 inch + ability to lift 35lbs + Monitor the machine to ensure products are stacked correctly. + Roll stacked products down the line for shipping preparation. + Use hand tape and machine wrapper to wrap packages. + Secure packages with zap straps. + Perform yard work, including cutting and wrapping insulation. + Restack products from the bottom up throughout the day. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work in a warehouse setting. + Able to stand on feet all day and work as part of a team in a hot environment (up to 35 degrees Celsius). + Proficient in using packing supplies (tape measure, tape gun, setting EPS, hardboards). + Capability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Possession of own vehicle. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is an asset. + Motivated with good attendance. + Able to work in a slow-paced and repetitive environment. **Why Work Here?** This is a short-term contract with the potential to become permanent.
