Job Description
Working in a food production facility that makes healthy power bars. Candidates will start off doing general warehouse work like inventory on an iPad, loading, unloading, preparing boxes for shipment, and more. Depending on the candidate's experience, they will move into the production room after the contract period where the bars are made. There, they would operate machines that produce power bars, mix ingredients, and sanitize machines. Following food safety protocol is critical, as one mistake can cause an entire batch to be ruined. Candidates need to be willing to be cross-trained in multiple areas. Given this is a startup, there is significant long-term growth potential, so it is in the employee's best interest to learn everything.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general warehouse work such as inventory management using an iPad, loading, unloading, and preparing boxes for shipment.Move into the production room to operate machines that produce power bars after the contract period.Mix ingredients and sanitize machines, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.Cross-train in multiple areas within the facility.Essential SkillsExperience in a food production environment.Knowledge of food safety.Ability to use an iPad for inventory tracking.Experience in packing, food preparation, sanitization, and machine operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsSit Down Forklift experience.Bilingual abilities.Manufacturing experience.Maintenance or mechanical experience is a plus.Why Work Here?
