Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team. You will be responsible for handling metal tubing, ensuring it meets various size and length specifications. The tubing is received as raw materials and must undergo several manufacturing processes to achieve the desired shape and thickness. This involves heating, melting, reducing, extruding, degreasing, cutting, and coiling the tubing. The final product must pass rigorous quality checks before shipment.

ResponsibilitiesRun tubing through various manufacturing processes to achieve desired shape and thickness.Operate machines to heat, melt, reduce, extrude, degrease, cut, and coil tubing.Inspect tubing to ensure it meets order specifications, including diameter, length, plugs, and dies.Perform quality checks to ensure tubing accuracy and identify any imperfections.Shrink wrap tubing for shipment.Ensure tubing does not get tangled during the manufacturing process.Conduct hydro tests to check for imperfections.Essential SkillsPrevious manufacturing/production experience.Hands-on experience operating machines.Good math skills.Detail-oriented and able to follow directions.High School Diploma.Mechanically inclined (experience with lathes, mills, micrometers, electrical equipment, hydraulics, wheel drums, furnaces, CAM, CNC).Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing/production environment.Mechanically inclined with machine operating experience.Good math skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is in a manufacturing environment that is not air-conditioned. During summer, temperatures can reach up to 110 degrees due to the heat generated by several machines. In winter, the plant is heated to maintain a comfortable working environment. The position requires working in very hot temperatures during summer. The available shifts are 1st Shift (6 AM to 4:30 PM) and Weekends (6 PM to 6 AM, Friday to Sunday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAMDEN WYOMING, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $23.05/hr.
