14.00 per hour All employees start at $14/hr until we gauge their level of experience and/or willingness to learn. Once you achieve a production bonus, your hourly rate will average from $20-$35 per hour depending on the quality and amount of product ran throughout the week. | Posted 04-Sep-2024 (EST) | Waycross, GA, USA | Hourly | Full Time or Part Time **FLSA Status:** Non-exempt **Summary** Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner. The N.E.A.T. program is for entry level employees with little to no experience in the mobile home manufacturing field OR for aspiring, experienced applicants to show their work ethic and abilities before being drafted to a production department. **NOTE:** Applying to this position DOES NOT guarantee an interview or employment. Other duties may be assigned. + Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. + Keeps area neat and clean. + Read and use a tape measure + Read blueprints and orders + Communicate well with coworkers + Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools **Competencies** + Must have a strong work ethic + Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically + Must understand safety procedures + Must have good teamwork skills + Must live the Champion Operating Principles **Qualifications** + Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
