The Production Worker will assist the designated machine operators on the production line with a variety of functions including but not limited to container turning and alignment on a moving conveyor, keeping work area clean and free of debris, washing and sanitizing ingredient barrels and buckets, hand stacking cases and creating pallets. Their duties may be carried out manually or with the use of machinery and equipment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed:

* 1st Shift: 6:30pm - 2:30pm

* 4 days per week, 30 hours max

Roles & Responsibilities:

Inspect, straighten, turn or align product containers on a conveyorLift and place cases onto pallets in a predetermined patternVerify that the pallet load consists of all the same cases of productRemove empty boxes and place in cardboard compactorSweep, remove trash and maintain area as needed Remove debris and waste from floors, including broken glass and productAssist process line operators with various functions including but not limited to keeping line stocked with caps, labels and other materialsAssist with sanitizing drums, barrels and bucketsPrepping and moving pre-weighed kits from staging area to kitchen with hand pallet jackKnow and practice all safety and GMP requirements in assigned work areaAlways wear all required safety equipment, personal protective equipment, including but not limited to steel-toe safety shoes and hearing protection in designated areasBe available to work overtime, holidays and weekends as production requiresAbility to work within a team environment to meet established production standards and goalsAbility to communicate problems or issues that are occurring on the production floor to the production management teamPossess and maintain a good attendance and work recordAdherence to all plant policiesAdapt to changes as neededOther duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food manufacturingMust be able to read, write, speak and communicate efficiently in English with a wide variety of people and personalitiesMust read follow verbal and written instructions and company-posted work and safety policies, procedures and programs

Minimum Physical Requirements:
