Job Description A healthcare employer in Houston, TX is seeking a Coding Auditor to join their growing team. This position is remote but candidates must live in the following states: TX, OK, LA, TN, FL, South Carolina, GA and NE. This position will audit and educate our coders (internal and onsite coders approx.. 40+ coders). The person in this position will audit 80-85% of the time with education to the coders based on auditing results. Skills and Requirements 2 yrs experience auditing profee coders 5 yrs of Profee Coding experience Experience with at least 2 of the following specialties -- Urology, Bariatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN or Pediatrics Strong experience with E/M leveling CPC or COC Coding Certification from AAPC Knowledge of coding compliance policies, official coding guidelines, regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures affecting the coding process Must reside in one of the following states: TX, OK, LA, TN, FL, SC, GA and NE null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
