Purpose of RoleThe Under Armour Korea Accounting Team is looking for an AR accountant as professional level. This position will be responsible for revenue recognition cycle including sales/AR reconciliation and management through active cross-functional communications. This role will not be limited to revenue recognition and GL reconciliation but also will take primary responsibilities in customer financial management and service such as credit control, collateral management and AR collection by liaison with franchise partners and account management team.
Your Impact Sales/AR reconciliation including AR clearing in SAP Distributor and wholesalers’ credit control and management Issue tax invoice and send AR statement to and liaison with wholesalers for AR management. Collateral management for AR security Calculation on sales return provision and estimation for planning Calculation on bad-debt provision and estimation for planning SOX internal control for revenue cycle In charge of audit response for revenue cycle Output VAT reconciliation and return Qualifications Fluent communication skill in English as native Korean Proactive communication attitude with cross-functional teammates Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Goal oriented mind-set with long-term career goal in finance Understanding USGAAP, KGAAP and local tax regulation is preferred. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 3 - 4 years’ AR, AP, or GL accounting experiences (minimum 2 years, not fresh Junior) SAP ERP experience is an advantage. Overall A/R system experience such as automatic matching tool is preferred. Experience in apparel retail/wholesale market industry is preferred but not mandatory.
