Position Summary:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, and Math or related discipline with an IT emphasis is required.
At least 1 year of experience with Oracle 12c and up and/or SQL Server 2014 and up database administration.
In-depth understanding of database security and access provisioning
Good understanding of information systems and data structures
Demonstrated knowledge of Structured Query Language and ability to execute them
Ability to adopt standard support practices and analyze technical problems
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and prioritize, escalate as needed
Ability to provide prompt 7X24 on-call DBA support for mission critical applications
Ability to learn other database technologies such as DB2-UDB, Sybase
Knowledgeable in Active Directory
Knowledge in Database Security is a plus
