Position Summary(Basic Job Function) This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period. Unit Position Summary This senior project manager will assist with planning team meetings, scheduling, organizing files, administrative tasks, processing invoices, supporting travel, etc. Project manager may engage directly with participants and staff in justice field settings, in person or remotely. Collaborate on submissions for academic conferences and preparation of manuscripts. Should be an independent, motivated worker who also collaborates well on teams. Must be comfortable and experienced working with persons in reentry from incarceration and be well-versed in acceptable language, e.g., https://www.recoveryanswers.org/addiction-ary/ and respect towards vulnerable persons with one of more behavioral health diagnoses including substance use disorder and dual diagnoses. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in criminal justice, Social Work, Law or similar, minimum of 2 years project management on federal grants funded criminal justice research, and a minimum of 1 year experience conducting fieldwork or clinical research in a justice system setting such as courts, jail or prison, community corrections.
