Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to assess learning needs and competencies across departments.Design, deliver, and evaluate educational activities focusing on clinical competencies, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.Promote research, evidence-based practices, and quality improvement initiatives.Contribute to the development and delivery of new staff orientation and educational programs.Serve as a consultant and mentor in program development, clinical practice, and professional growth.Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Associate degree program OR certification by one of the following nationally recognized programsAmerican Association of Medical Assisting (AAMA)National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Medical Technologists (AMT)Certification in health education preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, interdisciplinary team.Why MaineGeneral?
