Gundersen Health System is seeking a RN, Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) supporting the Winona and La Crosse outpatient surgery centers (OSC). What you will do:
1.0 FTE, salaried roleLead nursing orientation, education, competency, and professional development RNs, CSTs, and Perioperative Techs who work in the outpatient surgery environment. Evaluate nursing practice, assess practice gaps, identify learning needs, participate in process improvement projects and initiatives both within area of responsibility and at the system levelPrepare frontline staff with the knowledge and skills to provide high quality care and outstanding care experience in a supportive, professionally satisfying environment Work closely with amazing teams:OSC Leadership Teams (Directors, Managers, and Quality Improvement staff).
